Youth Tour and Cultural Exchange Program

IAG promotes trans-cultural sharing between the various groups that comprise Ethiopia to help highlight the unique contribution that each makes towards the national identity. As such, the youth tour and cultural exchange program launched in 2007 selected zones of youth from all regions to tour historical sites and explore different cultures throughout the country. These youth wereare given a unique opportunity to interact with others from different backgrounds, discuss contentious issues and learn to respect each others values cultures and opinions.  Past participants of the tour have gone on to establish a youth association called “Little Ethiopia Youth Association,” testifying to the project’s success in helping to create unity and friendship across ethnic.
